The art of correct spelling, proper grammar and punctuation, as well as general respect for the English language seems to be vanishing...and it's not just BlackBerry users.
There is a huge difference between abbreviating words due to character restrictions (i.e. SMS texts and twitter), and just being plain lazy. The 3 basic rules I'd give to anyone before being allowed to post in forums like this are:
1. Periods and commas are your friends...use them.
2. Yes, as a matter of fact there is a difference between "your" and "you're" as well as "their", "they're", and "there"
3. An apostrophy before the letter "s" indicates possession, not pluralization of a word
I can tolerate the fact that for some people English may not be their first language, and ****, everyone is guilty of the occasional typo -- but please, if you know the language, try to make your posts readable so that the rest of us actually know what you're talking about...it may actually improve your chances of being able to get help.
