Boostberry upgraded now no mms help!

Sorry if this has been covered, I'm sure it has but searching hasn't found the answer yet. But tonight when the Blackberry Desktop offered to upgrade my phone to 5.0 I thought why not...Everything seems ok but I now only have SMS which of course I can't use on Boost. Before I had MMS also but can't find this option (I have registered with Blackberry also) I seem to have lost the backup service books that I got from the Boostberry site when I bought this phone back in February as my old PC crashed and I didnt' have it on this one. Can anyone help me get the MMS back on my Boostberry, please?

Well, ,the thing was I didn't have the service books anymore thanks to a crashed computer. But, although the new DM was different I was still able to get it done with the books from the sticky so it's working now. Only issue left (besides facebook still not quite right even after changing to .22) is contacts not showing correctly when a call comes in. Example...my son called me for a test and while he is still in my contacts it didn't show his name and info, only the number that was calling. I did the copy from sim card contacts also so not sure how to fix this...
ps. the facebook issue was in effect before changing, just hoped updating would fix it. While the app will actually work to a degree, when on facebook instead of showing friend status it will just show "1 year later" next to each name. Been doing that for months now. More concerned with my phone contact info though! lol

I had the same issue with FB on 4.6 but I haven't been able to get facebook to work at all since upgrading to 5.0. I don't need it since I have SS but that's good to hear someone has it working, somewhat.

Not sure about the contacts issue, that's the first I have heard of that. Good luck

Has anyone seen the contact issue and know a fix? My contacts were saved and are on the phone. But when a call or text comes in from someone on the list it just shows the number and not the contact name or picture.
Edit: it seems to use the contact info if I make the call but not if they call in to me or text...very strange.

Found the issue with the contacts....after the upgrade my national number lengh had changed to 11 in smart dialing options. Changed this to 10 and the contact info is now showing.....no luck with the facebook but oh well huh?

Glad you got your problem sorted out..

Do you actually have v1.6 running with OS 5.0? If so could you share a link or files. I wouldn't mind having this in addition to SS. Mainly because you cant tag photos with SS.

yeah it's running, it's version 1.6.0.22 insead of .21 to work with 5.0 ...I got it from the sendspace link in this thread....http://forums.crackberry.com/f35/fac...10/index2.html post # 26 on page 2
