boostberry 8350i OS 5.0 install need help!!!

I have the 4.6 os installed currently and want to install 5.0 . I just dont understand where i am going wrong. I went to the nextel site and dl the os. When its installing on the phone at about 10 minutes into it it says there is a error with a bunch of zeros or something like that, then resulting in the phone having a white screen saying "reload software 507". i tried installing it through bbsak and the same thing happened. i know ive seen ppl that have successfully installed it and the website boostberry.com sells their boost 8350i with 5.0 on it. what should I do????

plug your phone in to your computer, then go to BlackBerry - Update your Device Software and click on the "check for updates" button and try loading from there. If that still doesn't work, read through these.

currently fighting the same problem...finally BBSAK did a factory wipe and I tried loading 5.0 again with it.....got some errors towards the end that left me hanging with just the blackberry loading bar. Read on somebody else post that persistance was the only thing that worked for him. Finally loaded about hundreds of attempts. I'm hoping mine will some day lol

make sure you wipe your device before updating.
