Boost Network Issues?? HELP!

Okay, so i am having a serious issue. I just bought a Nextel Blackberry 8350i yesterday. I was already a customer of Boost. I dont know whether it is the phone or me(probably me!) But my network keeps switching from "off" to nextel on me. Right now and for the past 2 or so hours it has been saying "off" and I dont know how to turn it back on. I have tried going to "manage connections" and checking the box for "mobile network" but it only clicks for a second and then continues with a red X. It worked most of the day today , with talk and chirp. I still have to do the service book rewrite to make everything else work. But I dont understand why it will only work part of the time. Any help would really be appreciated!

Are you using it on Boost or Nextel?

Sounds to me like either there is something wrong with the phone or the service books are corrupted. (Kinda leaning towards the phone...) u might be able to get it swapped out at a sprint store...with the right sales person. :O))) (Normally, they won't touch it...but there are occasions...)
