Bluetooth Gatway ?

I just bought a new used vehicle (2005 Mercedes E). It doesn't have bluetooth or the integrated phone. It has an auxillary port and I was wondering if the BB Bluetooth Gateway could be used as a hands free also? (with a 8350i) What I'd like to be able to do is:

1) have the phone play thru my stereo (eliminate ear piece)
2) have wireless connectivity, but wired will be ok if no other choice.

The aux connection is in the glove box, so some of the BT fixtures that have the mic on the jack won't work.
