Unhappy Blackberry Curve 5350 Stolen!

I had my carrier deactivate the phone. I went and got a replacement and my phone # switched to my new phone. My question is, now that my new number is wired to this new sim card, what happens to my old one? I didn't set up any protection for the last one. What precautions should I take. Please help.

Your old device doesn't have any service, and is normally put on a blacklist so it can't be used anymore.
If you didn't have a password, your information is probably still there.
& I don't think you can remove it since it's not in your hands.

Also, the Blackberry 5350 isn't a real device number. Blackberry 8330, or 8530?
