Default blackberry 8530 freezing problem

iv been having problems with my blackberry freezing, at first it was just my BBM that froze, and only a few times a month. now my blackberry freezes while trying to open apps, and some time just freezes on the main screen and now it freezes like every other day. and the only way to reset it is to take the battery out. my blackberry is only about 6 months old. is there anything i can do to fix this problem?

How much free memory do you have? Options / Status / File Free. If your value is less than 8 000 000 bytes, that might be part of the problem.

That's plenty of file free. Have you added any apps or themes lately?

My concern isn't that you have themes taking up memory, since you have sufficient File Free, but rather that you may have downloaded a theme that is either incompatible with your device or poorly designed and causing your problem. Try switching to a theme that came with your phone. If that solves the problem, you won't have to reinstall your OS.

Twelve hours of battery life isn't necessarily bad. If that's a lot less than you used to get, then it might be indicative of something. The random music is odd. You might want to reinstall your OS to clear that up. The database that Alt LGLG clears aren't normally large enough for clearing them to make any difference.

If random things are happening, I will go out on a limb and blame water damage. But to be honest, it is normal to pop your battery once a day but if this is happening more often then you have a problem.

make sure your not logged in google maps, sign out
turn of your gps (options, advanced options-gps off) unless you really use this take in mind your location is being updated so if your using other apps its to much for the memory of the phone to handle, make sure you erase you messages go the list and click on yesterdays date - menu - delete prior this deletes all you have got if it take long time wait this is good news and do this often, when you get an email and your going to open a file they sent you make sure the size of it if its over 1mb this might take time and if you make a call or go to another app this file is working its way to open and need memory.

hope this helps
