8350i wont turn on

8350i, wont turn on, when connect to charger a pic of a battery with a red line thru it shows up. already tried a new battery, still nothing. any ideas?

I have never had this happen but just from reading around I'm seeing 2 possible solutions. You could possibly have a corrupt memory card. Try taking out the memory card and see what happens. It could also be a software issue. If you can get the phone to connect, I would try re loading the OS. These are just suggestions, I really have no idea if it will help. Good luck!

Have you pressed and held in the Red phone key while plugging in the phone to a charger? then, installing the battery while its plugged in to a power supply? Remove the SIM and the SD Card. always troubleshoot the bb without cards when dead.
If you know how to use javaloader, have that ready to help you out with a log file
