Default 8350i - WiFi Only

Can the 835i0 be used as a WiFi only device without carrier activation? I of course know that it would not receive any BB specific services but I would want to be able to browse the Internet and use apps that can use WiFi directly.

Thanks

Sure. I pull old red out once and a while just to play on it with the wifi. I have used it for streaming media on occasion cuz the speaker is super loud. It's like driving an old tank around. Sure it's slow, but it's bulletproof!

You actually get streaming video to play on your 8350i? I can rarely get anything substantial to load on the internet, wifi or not. Large photos/graphics and video seem to be too much for the device.
