5.0.0.1051 update - turn off voice mail notification that now shows in SMS

With this new update a bubble now shows at the top (along with the usual 'tape' icon) and now get a red star displayed and notification in the SMS/MMS ICON folder. As in the past I checked my Call Logging setting and it's set to NONE. This use to work with the past operating systems... How do I turn these new voicemail notifications off?

It doesn't bother me that much because for some reason when I dial my voicemail it actually calls my phone rather then going straight to my inbox. Going to my voicemail through my message inbox is the only way I can avoid it.
