I just got a Curve 3g, it's my very first Blackberry so I'm still familiarizing myself with the phone. I downloaded the Blackberry Theme Builder vs 5.0, but I noticed that there is no option for the Curve 3g (9300) I was wondering if I made a theme using one of the Curve options listed (8950, 8900, 8800, 8700, 8500, 8350, 8330,8300) if it would be compatible with the 3g, if so which option would it be?

for OS 5, 8520/8530 themes work just fine (i've loaded several 8520 themes on my 9300 and they work without problems).

With OS5, you can use any theme for any other device with the same screen resolution. So yes, that's the 83XX, 85XX, and 88XX.

I can't remember the 8700's screen res, but it's too old to mess with.

The 89XX has a 480x360 screen res, so theme-wise it's compatible with 9630 and 9700, and not with the other Curves, which have a 320x240 screen res.

Mark is correct.
Currently the only device with OS6 that can run themes is the Torch.

Everyone else has been eagerly awaiting the next Theme Builder release.

I noticed in an earlier post it said you can use any theme with the same screen resolution (i have the 9330) and in theme builder every time i try to export to my bb, it says "this theme was created for another model" or something along those lines. can anyone tell me how to create one and get it on my phone? or if i'm doing it wrong?
