    Default Worth the upgrade?

Hey guys, I've been using my 9300 for quite a while now and ever since the release of the new BB7 phones I've just been wondering if it'll be a good idea to ditch my old 9300 and go for a better 9360 or 9320? I'm more of a social user, using Twitter and BBM for most of my social services. I'd really love it if I had a phone that was reliable enough and not as laggy as the 9300 with it's 624Mhz processor. I'm also looking to invest in a Bold 9790 if my price range allow.

    Appreciate the feedback! Thanks.

the 9360 is a SOLID phone, and well worth the money, I would not invest in a 9790 if you are planning on going to BB10 in the fall.

If you are not planning on going BB10, get a 9790 if you can afford it.

but if it just for twitter and BBM, a 9360 will suffice.

I just helped a friend get a 9360. I helped her set it up and she loves it. However, what I found interesting is that I loved it too!
Last year I helped one of my ministers at church set-up her loaner BB for a trip to Africa because her iPhone 4 at Verizon was not a world phone.
As I was setting up her BB I just could not believe the old curve she had and the new Bold 9930 were related. The old curve was much less user friendly and it was slow.

I have to say that I've switched carriers due to a great deal and now I have a Bold 9900 but I'm just looking for an excuse to get my hands on another Curve 9360. I was very impressed with the speed and feel. I did not use the FM radio but it seems it has this capability and it does not cost you any data. I thought that was kind of neat too.
The new Curve is also small. While many phones are getting larger and larger to ridiculous levels, this little guy fit very comfortably in my pocket and just feelt good. Everything you need and nothing you don't.

I have to say specs don't tell the whole story. Just out of curiosity I ran speed tests against my Bold 9930 at the time and

I would say jump on the new Curve 9360 with OS7 and if you like your current Curve you are going to love this one. . Also, don't forget about the BlackBerry promo for OS7 that is giving away $77.00. I think they posted it is still going to the end of the month.

    Good luck!

Thanks! Going to decide on what I'm getting soon. Your help is greatly appreciated. I'm thinking of the 9790, but I just hope it's gonna be worth it as I am curious to see whether RIM does a good job of BB10, if I get positive sneak peaks on BB10 then I'm expecting a Curve.

I'm thinking of getting the Curve too. Thanks for the input. I'm thinking about how thin and pocketable the new Curve is and how old and slow mine is so I'm guessing it's a worthy upgrade. I have a bit of a concern with the battery, with it being a 1000mAh battery compared to the old Curve's 1150mAh battery. I'm hoping I'll find a better experience with this new Curve haha . (as well as better battery life.)
