saw many posts etc. about doing a 'wipe' on t phone. can someone please explain in a simple and easy way, what is it...why do you need to do it...what happens when you do it?

it returns the PB to factory settings, like you just took it out of the box, then reinstalls updates. if your having a lot of issues that reboots aren't solving you might want to try this, just be sure to do a back up first, because it wipe out anything you might have on it.

and there are some apps that may not be free anymore.
