    Arrow Wi-Fi problem

    Hello,

I cant open Blackberry Appworld and Facebook application with WiFi

It shows full strength on the WiFi signal, and when i try to open App World, it says
"You do not have sufficient wireless coverage or your connection to the wireless network is turned off."

It is neither switched off and have full coverage.

    Please help.

Note that "wireless network" in this context means the carrier network not the WiFi network.

Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan?
Do those applications work over the carrier network?
Are your other data features working properly?

No, i do not have a BB Data Plan.

Guys, now it started working. But the problem is, when i connect to WiFi, it would connect properly and i can use all the apps like App World, FB, Whatsapp properly.
But after sometime, even if the WiFi is connected, the apps just won't connect.
    Why is this?
In order for WiFi to work again, i got to pull the battery out and turn it on again.
Is there any way i can make my WiFi work properly?

    Please give suggestions, thank you.

PS : I shrinked my OS6, if that helps.

You need a BlackBerry Data Plan in order to use BlackBerry Data features. Even over WiFi. That's just the way it works.

It sounds like you are temporarily getting the Service Books pushed to the device upon the battery pull and then once the system detects the lack of the data plan, it stops working.
