Hello,

I recently had to restore my BB. I do remember when I was updating it just a few weeks ago that it asked me if I wanted to back up my info before it began updating. So, I let it back up my info. But, now that I had to restore my BB where can I find my backed up data so I can put my info back onto my phone? I am using Windows XP.

Search your computer for an IPD file. That should be the backup file. And it should have the date that you did the backup.

And also, Desktop Software will find it for you when you go to do a restore. But yea, you should find out where your computer is storing them.

I searched it and could not find it. But, I found DPF, COD, and PF files?

Search your WHOLE computer.

It might be in your My Documents.
