This is my brothers old phone and to be honest he didn't look after it the best. The curser has a problem where it's controlled by the sun and when you type the trackpad skips up or down. I've put some clear tape over the trackpad which has seemed to improved slightly the usability of the phone.

I have myself replaced the trackpad once because when my brother gave it to me it was completely dead and wouldn't work at all! It worked normally for a month and then went back to the movement by its self again. The phone is around 1.5 years old and won't have any warranty left..

I've tried the cardboard trick where you put it between the battery and phone and that didn't work!

Any tips? Thanks

Have you tried cleaning it with alcohol? Just a VERY small amount, on a qtip should do

No I have not tried this. Where are you meant to clean it may I ask? Just the surface of the trackpad? Thanks
