Problems with my Curve 3G crashing
Hi everyone,
Since early February this year my phone keeps crashing. It started of by coming up with a message saying "battery drained, phone shutting down, especially while using apps such as facebook or twitter but I have found to have problems when sending emails or just checking things on the phone. I noticed that the problems started occurring after I loaded OS6 onto my device.
What I ended up doing was taking it to my carrier provider and they sent it away under warranty then two weeks later I get a "new" phone back, though I suspect it's just a refurbished one, but still I have the same problems. The phone was preloaded with v6.0.0.546 platform 6.6.0.207 so it's making me think that it could be a fault with the OS.Thanked by:stonewall68 (04-16-2012)

hey, i have had the same issues, with my phone, i have been back to OS 5 now for two weeks, use my phone throughout the day, and it drops maybe 25% in about 12 hours, over half in 6-8 hours, also been told by my carrier that it is my batter, considering OS 5 runs fine! So dont believe their advice, the support from your carrier is minimal at best, i suggest the downgrade which you can do from Desktop Manager. hope this works out for you.

I'm on OS6 723 without those problems. Wipe the device and reinstall OS and apps, things should be working better afterwards. Shrink the OS to make sure you have enough memory left (should be 40MB with all your apps installed)
