Not receiving emails as of 10:17 AM

For some reason I am not receiving emails sent to my gmail account on my blackberry as of 10:17 AM. I am receiving email to my other 2 accounts. Can someone advise me on what I should do, tell me what could possible be going on?

Try resending your service books or delete the gmail account and then re-add it.

Well some emails came in at 11:45, but since then, nothing. If I delete the account will I lose the emails that are on my phone?
