Default No third-party internet support. Basic browser works fine.

I have a Blackberry Curve 3G (9300/9330) with wifi-support activated. I do not have a dataplan. I have installed the apps Logicmail and Opera's browser. I have no problem connecting to a wireless network connection (the signal is strong, and my phone says that it is connected) and when I first configured these third-party apps, I was able to use them just fine.

However, about a week later, these third party apps stopped working. For Logicmail, I get an error saying "Unable to connect to server", and for Opera mini I get an error saying "Unable to connect. Please review your network settings."

So far, after googling similar problems, I tried changing my browser settings to make the 'hotspot' the default browser rather than web2go. To no avail, so far.

    Suggestions?

    Edit:
    I am using T-Mobile.

What carrier are you using the device on?
Many carriers no require a BlackBerry Data Plan to use WiFi.
