Call your carrier and or blackberry. Since rye the original owner, they can unblacklist the device.

I rung them, and since i have no proof i bought the device, they will not unblacklist it, i threw the box away, and all the codes and stuff written down, which i really regret now, is there any other way?

did you purchase the device from your carrier? if so they will have the records and be able to do this for you if you were indeed the original purchaser.

How did they block it so easily when you aren't the contact holder or have any "of the codes" ? On the basis they are willing to do this, put it to them that they must also be willing to un-block it

The way you tell it, anybody could call up "Blackberry" and get a phone stopped.

You'll have to do the same, get in contact with your cousin, to unblock it.

I agree, the account holder will need to call and explain the situation.

My carrier unblocked my IMEI within 5 minutes.
I lost a BB a few years ago, then it was returned 5 days later.

Turn it in to the police or to the cell phone provider so that it can be returned to the rightful owner.

    Also, you can't 'unblacklist" it.
