My phone started acting very weird months ago. My Son & I are on the same plan, he has a BB also (I don't remember which one, but it is older than mine). We can be right next to each other & mine is digitally roaming. I shut all networks off. Wait. Turn them back on. Hey, Hey, Sprint network is on now.....ooopppsss it just went back to roaming. ALL DAY!!! Many MANY conversations with Sprint and after a complete wipe I still have these problems. Finally after almost 2 months of calling them at least once a week they sent me a new phone. Identical to the other one........by identical I mean SAME ISSUES.
Sometimes it takes almost an hour to send a text, and very few calls go thru. Most of the call I receive have horrible connections.
I thought about dumping Sprint for Verizon, but #1 they can give me a "unlimited data" plan #2 if my Sons phone (& the other 3 phones on my plan) are fine it must not be Sprint.
So, I was on a land line with a Sprint rep yesterday. He said there were known issues with this model. I dunno. He suggested, since I am eligible for a upgrade/rebate, to get a different phone altogether. Fine.
My PC does not recognize the phone at all. I had backed up the other one months before the problems started.
Now that I am about to get a new phone (this is the main part of my message) -- will Sprint be able to sync my contacts with a new phone....I'm thinking about getting a HTC. My Nephew said he had issues doing this a few years ago.
Also, is there any way to sync contacts between; Facebook - Windows mail - and GMail - so they are all in one book?
