hi folks iam new to the fourm iam having trouble with my first blackberry iam trying to use a irc program called JMIRC i have been able to use it with other networks and phones but for some reason i just get the following message

error trying to connect to irc server.aborting ...execption invalad url parameter

iam on t-mobile uk and have the correct apn settings in my phone and there turned on i can connect to everything else except jmirc can anyone offer any advice or ideas would be welcome i have rang t-mobile all they offered was to chage me a £10 a mth extra to use my phone as i modem which iam not willing to pay thanks colly
