Default How do I check what OS my phone uses?

I have a 9300 Curve. How do I check what OS it uses? I have heard some OSs run faster than others. How do you change your OS?

Alt - shift + H and you can see your OS. Or options - phone - info about software versions.

If there is an update for your phone, there are two ways to change the OS...1. OTA(over the air) and 2. via DM(desktop).

Thanks for this. I assume I am using OS 6 as it says Platform 6.6.0.207 and App Version: 6.0.0.546 (2475)?

I use a 9300. Am I using teh best OS or is there a better one?

Thanks byul. Considering my current version is OS 6.0.0.546 and the new one is OS 6.0.0.723, is it worth upgrading? Do you know if there's that much difference between them?

Well i can't tell since i don't have the curve 9300. You could try look around on CB for reviews.
Well if the current OS is working fine for you then there is actually no need for an update.
