    Default EMail Issues - Not Able to Access my Email Settings on my Curve 3G

    Help...thought that the 2 - step verification for Google mail would be a good idea however, it appears that it caused some issues with the gmail on my bb. I turned off the Gmail security and I received shortly thereafter a message from BB to advise that email messages are not being delivered to my device and to resume service I need to validate my password. No problem I thought...well I went to the Setup Icon and clicked on the Email Accounts - nada..doesn't even open.

    I have two gmail accounts which were both working on my curve 3g but now only one of them works - which of course is the one I do not use very much.

    No idea how to fix this..any help will be greatly appreciated. FYI - I do not have browser access on my BB.

    first battery pull. I use google 2 step on several berrys. works fine.

    Hey Southlander...thanks for the reply. I tried pulling the battery - tried it three times and still no luck. When I go to the Setup icon on my bb and try to open "Email Accounts" absolutely nothing happens...it does not open at all. Wondering if I wipe my bb and reload??

    try to reinstall with the newest OS. If it remains the same. You need to contact your carrier to get fix on your subscription and account.

    I ever got the same situation too, and that's how I solve it.

    You shouldnt have to reload the os. Did you setup the bb manuallly on the verification page? You cant use the gmail password. You have to use the specific password google gives you to set it up. If you did that I'd delete it and try setting it up again on google.
