Default do i need to keep updating things?

hiya, just joined the site looking for advice cos i aint the biggest phone techie around!
just got a 9300 and have loads of update alerts for the latest BBos,yahoo, msn,BBappworld, etc etc.

do i need to update each one as it says?

and also do all these updates take up extra memory or do they replace the old ones i.e. not taking up new memory?

thanks.

decision is entirely yours , some of the updates brought new features and function to the apps and for the the memory .. some are more and some are lesser when the updates takes place.

I would update everything! The developers of the apps decided to make some changes and update them, you should too!

You should, developers usually updates something if they add new features or if they found a bug or a security hole. And most of the time they fix battery issues, which I believed one of their top most priorities since these what blackberry is best of or should be best of.

Yes, it is good practice to update software straightaway as this can prevent the software from causing you problems in the future.
