Is it just me or does the battery life on this phone suck?

My phone dies down to about 50% in 4 hours doing nothing, or running anything in the background. Any tips?

I'm on the latest my carrier (Verizon Wireless) has, It's .719.

Had my 9300 till this morning .
With heavy usage I was able to get 2 days out of it (after I managed to find the apps that sucked the battery). Look for those apps!
Check out the signal strength Switch to EDGE, you won't notice that much difference in speed.
The worst I got was 20 hours with one charge.

I'm not sure if I can switch from 3G to Edge because it's a 9330, and CDMA.

Ive the Same problem too.. I thought that's the way curve 9330 with original battery are. Suck on battery life. Unless some can prove me wrong

I don't feel like spending another $50 on an extended battery either.

One time I tried Verizon's latest I had many bugs so I downgraded and it was doing good. Now I have re-upgraded and the problems are fixed so if I was you, I'd downgrade by one or two versions and see how it works. Also just so you know, right after I upgrade, I'll get poor battery life and have to reboot a few times until after about a week.

my old 3g lasted 2 days solid. Aswell as me playing the game of life on it 24/7

You can't really compare the Curve 3G (9300) and 9330. They're different. The GSM (9300) actually seems to have better battery life for everyone. :P

The battery on my 9330 dies fast. Fully charged it @ 10am and its already dead. And I didn't use it too much either before it dies.
