Can you block a number from calling you?
Is it possible to block a number from calling you on a Curve? I'm looking and I don't see such a function, but I'm not very literate about such things- maybe I'm just over looking it.
Thanks for any help. - 10-12-2011, 05:19 PM #2
I do not think this is available on BB, I know you can send a number straight to voicemail on my Droid 1 but have not found such a feature on BB
Conversely, if you are using Google Voice, you can block them within the web interface, again I do not know if this can be done from the phone - 10-12-2011, 08:47 PM #3
Come on Dude!! This is a smartphone we are talking about there are more then one App out there that may perform this function. I prefer Mr. Number but that is not the only one.
If that don't you always have the carrier route. I know verizon will block up to 5 numbers from calling and texting you. - 10-12-2011, 08:51 PM #4

Well I just know A call blocker was one of the first apps I began to download. I absolutely love call blockers and I have used them many times

Yep, you don't get the call. It dumps them directly into voicemail. No fuss No Muss. If you have Visual Voicemail its even better because you don't have to call up and clear out the messages, just delete those suckers from your message box.

Thanks for all the input.

Going to have a look at Mr Number. - 02-06-2013, 05:46 PM #12
Only do that if you want ALL text messages to be blocked from the phone.
Note that you carrier likely will still charge you for text messages that are sent to the device even if you have the Firewall enabled. - 02-17-2013, 06:59 PM #13
