Afternoon All,

I have an issue with an icon in that I don't know what it is or how it got there haha

Obviously I can't post a pic so I'll try and describe...

On the main home screen, the clock icon is there so it looks like possibly an alarm/timer of sorts, but when the clock is activated the icon appears in the lower right.
It's red with a time next to it. It looks like a wireless network/mobile network icon and has a small square going through the 'signal' (sorry my description is crap ).
To me it looks like possibly some kind of timer or alarm for automatically blocking the network (??).

As I say, I don't recall setting anything, nor can I find an option that indicates what it is, so hoping someone can help.

if i understand correctly to what you are describing it is an alarm. To turn off the alarm go to your clock icon and open it up then hit your BlackBerry button and go to the option set alarm to turn it off. You might have accidently set it when you plugged in your phone to charge it.

Hi - Thanks for the quick response.

This is not the icon for the "wake you up" alarm, that icon is the clock with the 2 concentric waves each side. Unless there are multiple alarms??

Actually now, since your response, I've looked closer I don't think my initial description is correct - It has the same waves but the middle is a square object, possibly a representation of the handset maybe. I've checked the auto on/off options and it's not this as this option is disabled.

Now you mentioned it (above poster) this did happen after having it connected to a PC to charge.

I checked all of my icons and i do not have anything like that on my 9930. My suggestion is to do a search on your phone for "icons", under help there are several pages of what icons you might see on your phone. If it is not one of those icons then it could be an icon from a 3rd party app like bbweather or twitter
