black screen/one long red LED light/water damage

i dropped my phone in the sink the screen went black so i ripped the battery out let it dry but the screen still wont work this was 2 days ago i just tried to get it to work tonight....i put the battery in i get one long red light the keyboard lights turn on but the screen is just tanked i guess....help...????

You should have dried it for at least 4 to 5 days.

I think you'll have to send that off to be repaired.

my 8900 ended up in the snow and got soaked - i took it apart and put in tin a sealed bag with a scoop of rice and left it on a radiator for 3 days and then used a hairdryer on a 'cold setting' for 5/10 mins it worked fine after that but the 'water damage' indicator paper will damage your chance of a cheap repair if anything else goes.
