When I enter a birthday for a contact it posts a double entry in the calendar for that date.
Anybody else have this problem?

I do, and I don't know how to get rid of that. It does that for me for every calendar entry, it shows two entries for everything.

I had similar problem when I initially I used the Google sync. But not any more since I deleted the service CICAL books for FB & other calendars (leaving only 1 calendar in service books).

or first try to set your default calendar.. if it could solve this problem (I tried this and not working for me)

I'm only using the one calendar and synching to my Google calendar and contacts. I'm a real bb newbie so I'm not sure what you mean by service books. Also, what is CICAL?
