No, it's actually a great question. Passport doesn't, but it's not exactly the same.

I was hoping it wouldn't unless you held down the shift key. I think that would be very useful for the rare time you needed it.

I hope the browser would. I miss the track pad for clicking on small links...

I think this is up there with, "Does the Classic have a touch screen". How are they both going to work? (not a joke or a troll btw)

You want to use the trackpad to click on links without your great big thumb obscuring the view.

For 'you' read 'I' and 'my'.

Without that, much reduced usefulness of trackpad. So I hope it has this.

I hope so, for those instances an ad pop up appears with a tiny X to close it down.

Hopefully during browser, for the reasons already stated. It shouldn't need it for general operation of the OS.

I would definitely like a cursor at all times just like BBOS.

I can't believe I didn't think of this before, but someone else who had access to a Classic has mentioned this in another thread. I remember him stating that "the cursor only appears when you're using it" Which then of course implies that will have one. :-)

Good to hear, particularly with web and text...I guess that means it will appear when you begin swiping the trackpad? (Or swiping the keys, I suppose, if that's going to be a thing with the Classic as well as the Passport. Which will hopefully be a feature you can toggle off.)

Keys are not touch sensitive like Passport. So it will appear when you start swiping on the trackpad. :-)

I can tell you that yes it has a cursor. Phone feels really solid and performs very well considering it's early stages.

Why would the passport have a cursor? It's a full-touch/QWERTY phone?

Um, because the keyboard is used like a trackpad if you double tap on it...
