Is it normal for my Classic to think my home WiFi is a Hotspot? I keep getting a notification to log into a Hotspot but that is my home WiFi.

I know nothing about routers so I am looking for some help here please. Thanks.

Check your visible WiFi networks, do you see your router WiFi name listed twice in the list?
You can see it on your Z30 via Settings/Networks and Connections/Wi-Fi and look at the list of Available Networks.

If so, a lot of newer routers have "two" WiFi networks, one that is your regular secured network and one that is a "public" network.
Both will still be secured, meaning you can only access it with the proper security and pass, but the public one will act more like a hotspot requiring one to login via their browser sometimes. The difference is the "public" one wont have access to your LAN.

OK thanks, but it does not appear that my network is listed twice. However, there is an old SSID of mine that was on the same router that is no longer being used but it does show up. This is the one called Aanya. My active one is called Not Cisco (don't ask why I called it that - long story).

How do I get my Classic to stop asking me to login to the "hotspot"? Can I do something to my router?
