    It does vibrate and the navigation has sound and I can put a call on speaker. When you go to notifications. It is on normal....but below it all the choices including normal have a bell with a line through all of them

    In the sound settings for the classic there's an option to edit the ringer. Just double check to make sure that the normal profile has the volume on and not set to vibrate/ silent only. (in the notification settings hold a profile to edit)
