[CrackBerry Question]

When at home the Maps location suggests that the phone is in Beckenham Kent ven though I live in the Midlands.

Why is this happening and how can I reset.

have you checked the settings? What about another map app instead?

Settings seem Ok, if I go down the street the phone suddenly knows where it is!

I could try another App but I expected the preloaded one to work.

Are you connected to wi-fi? Sometimes the GPS will report the point of presence of your ISP. When you do a speedtest on speedtest.net on your pc does it show a similar location to the GPS on the phone?

I did the speedtest and it shows the correct location.

Clear your cache. Try with an app called GPS Status. When I last had an Android phone my goo-goo maps used to tell me I was in Qatar, when I was in Malibu, Ca.
