Seems like BB is yet to learn alot if it needs to survive, no specs are out, and the preorders are open. Guess they are joking with us, and yeah the white must be shown at least if not released initially.

I don't think BlackBerry needs white devices to survive. Don't forget - BlackBerry is refocusing on enterprise. Anyway, with Passport coming in both red and white in addition to black, a white Classic is almost assured.

Either they should just focus on enterprise or focus on the consumer side too, white phones wont help them survive bt a positive approach will surely do!! They should have out the specs by now and start focusing on attracting the developers too as android isnt the ultimate solution.

I think there will be a white Classic in the near future, although there's no official word about it. It's a business device, so maybe a white version has no priority and it might depend on the initial demand of the black version.

I would love to hear about other colors at the launch event. However, I can imagine that the people who chose to pre-order would feel cheated by not having all of the information before hand if special colors are announced.

That's why I chose to hold off until there is more news. I'm not concerned about specs - I just need a phone that allows me to talk, text and browse - but I need to know more about color and any carrier specials before I buy.

I'd be genuinely surprised if otherwise - have only seen two in testing.

I wonder if the Classic is as easy to disassemble/reassemble as the Z10/Q10 were. The white looks nice, but I'd prefer the screen/glass from the black one on the white body.

I can't get one right away, as my phone tab isn't up until Janruary, so hopefully the white one appears before then.
