    Wonder if anybody can help here.

    All new whatsapp contacts (these are contacts I want and are in my address book) only ever show the number in the actual whatsapp contact list. This makes selecting chats a little complicated.

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

    Strange because the contact list populates based on your address book and shows the names not the numbers. Did you try restarting the phone or checking for any upgrades on the Watsapp app? Just a silly question did you download Watsapp from Blackberry World or from Amazon store?

    Thanks for your response and apologies for the very late reply - been working away. Whatsapp is from BlackBerry World, and runs the latest version.

    I might delete WA and start again. Tried restarting a few times already without success.

    Sometimes it happens to me too, but it always cures itself after a few open-closes
