I know the Verizon Blackberry Z30 and Q10 came unlocked. How about the Verizon Blackberry Classic? The only evidence I found was from a forum on the Verizon website, but I need more validation than that.Is the Verizon Blackberry Classic Unlocked?-verizon-classic.png

Has anyone here actually unlocked the Verizon Blackberry Classic and successfully used it on AT&T?

I have a PP on AT&T and a Classic on Verizon. I placed the sim from the PP into the Classic. With in a few minutes the Classic was all setup on the AT&T network. I confirmed that calls, SMS, and internet all worked. I hope this helps.

Yep, it is. Verizon store rep told me all lte phones are factory unlocked.
Also, both my wife's and my classics were unlocked out of the box

Do you get LTE with your AT&T sim in your Verizon classic?

All Verizon LTE phones are unlocked; it's part of the deal they made to get the spectrum they use for LTE.

The Verizon Classic is unlocked, but it won't work that great on AT&T. It's missing at least two AT&T bands.

Does anyone know if the Verizon Blackberry Classic SQC 100-3 work on cricket wireless plan? I was told by rep that it'll only be voice only phone, and no data. If I will get data, will it be 3G or 4G or LTE. Please advise.

My VZW branded Classic is working just fine on T-Mobile. LTE and all.

As a bonus, putting in a T-Mobile SIM brought Audio Boost back to my phone options! PROOF that it was Verizon's doing all along!

Interesting! I didn't know Verizon was doing this to their phones (well, maybe BB, but at Verizon's request, no doubt.) Any idea if this (Classic) is the only phone they hamper in this way?

And this feature being SIM controlled? Wow.
