Less accurate. Still works, but takes more care (i.e. stress).

I've always disliked the touchpads of laptops. I always carry a little usb mouse with me..

I'm not entirely sure that's an entirely parallel likening.

It all depends on UI design -- BB10 was *designed* for touch interface. Slapping on a former input method/interface doesn't make it "more right", if it was intentionally designed to not have one.

I think with the minor exception of precision text selection, BB10 is in no way worse off without a trackpad.

Physical end call buttons, however... now that's one thing I don't think a "soft solution" could ever really replace!

I agree with you on the call send and end buttons. But regarding the trackpad, that doesn't replace the touchscreen, only use it when it benefits you, like text selection, clicking small links on webpages, etc. So keep using the parts designed for touch on your touchscreen. That's the beauty of combining the two, best of both worlds...

Cut/copy/paste is so much easier with that trackpad. Can't wait to have it back plus all the bb10 goodness! And the send, end keys too!!

    LOL really.

Quite unwarranted as the OP meant something else.
