Will an unlocked Rogers BlackBerry Classic Work on Wind Mobile.

Oh and can anyone find me the cheapest unlock codes please.

I am using Classic that I bought directly from BlackBerry, so I am okay, but when I was at Wind store, they've asked me if I've got it from Telus. When I asked why is that important, store representative replied that sometimes they have problems with with phones (not just BB) purchased from Telus. To your question, as per WIND store guy, they never had problems with clients who used unlocked ROGERS phones.

Just want to be sure, because the Rogers model apparently doesnt have the 1700 band that Wind needs.

They're full of crap. All BB10 phones (except the Q10) sold in Canada will cover all Canadian networks including Wind.

I had a Z30 from Telus, no problem, have a Passport unlocked, no problem, my friends have koodo Q5s, also no problems. All on Wind.

Of the 4 Classic models compatible with Canadian carriers only 1 (SQC100-4) works on the Wind network.

You could have bought one straight from Wind if you were worried about compatibility. Also the shopblackberry.ca model is the -4

The model which TELUS sells is the SQC100-4, which should work on Wind so long as it's unlocked, so I'm a bit surprised that Wind would've told you otherwise.
