Wait, but this will silence all the scheduled meetings in my Calendar, right?
Not necessarily. I created a 'BlackBerry Sleep Mode' event in my 'Local Calendar'. I don't use this calendar for my meetings. I use GMAIL calendar for personal meetings and my work calendar for work stuff. I've then setup Meeting Mode to 'Omit' every calendar except the Local calendar.

This way, meeting mode will only silence the meetings in the Local Calendar. Hope this helps.

BlackBerry ON, 24/7, 365... I ALWAYS ride with all alerts silent (LED is all the indication I need) with the exception of calls and SMS which are on vibrate... I do have a few custom profiles with tones for certain situations, but my standard profile is Vibrate w/all alerts set to silent and LED indicators for the rest... At night I switch to silent with only the 'important' on vibrate (in case of an emergency) ... I see no need to turn off my device... Unless absolutely needed to preserve battery... I prefer to flip... Why power off when I can simply flip to save power?

On iOS you can schedule DND to enable on a set schedule. I'm happy to set Bedside mode on my own, but maybe it'd be easy to implement in the future.

I always have my phone on... I just shut it off and back on 3 minutes later every other day so the phone can refresh itself properly...

I only shut down for an occasional restart. Which has been about once every 2-3 weeks.

And at night it sits on my nightstand on a Tylt wireless charger.

Why would you need to ask this? Do whatever you want with your phone, the power is yours to behold.

Sorry, I'd like to typo but my Q10 doesn't support it.

This post made me question something. I use a Tylt Vu wireless charger. Does it stop charging once at 100% to preserve battery?

I still leave it 24/7 on.. But nowadays in bedside mode... just emergency calls coming through, for the rest i get no notification warnings.. My phone is lying on the other side of my bedroom on the charger at nights.

When you shut it off, how do you get up in the morning? The phone has an awesome alarm!

Only time when my phone is off is in the airplane!

Tylt's FAQ states that it is designed to stop charging once the battery reaches full. I would post a link, but this is my first post and it won't let me. :-)
