    In an effort to save some battery life, I have my screen timeout setting at 10 seconds. However, it seems like it shuts down too quick for me when browsing the internet and I wonder if it really is saving any significant amount of battery life on my Classic.

    So I am curious, what have been other Classic users findings? Do you notice any significant battery life gain by scaling back the screen timeout to 10 or 20 seconds?

    Depends on how you use the device.

    In any case, try: system settings, advanced interactions, hold to stay awake -> on.
