I used to be able to save messages and email on my 9930 quite easily. For the life of me I cannot figure out how to do the same on my Classic. It allows me to "file" mail in an important folder, but even that mail disappears in 30 days. Any help appreciated.

In accounts you can set the email to Forever, it will be a battery drain when you set it up but once everything is synchronized it should be fine.

What happens if you search on the empty Important Folder? will it pull from your email server? It should retrieve you saved email, but requires a connection.

Also, when you flag email messages, they appear in your unfiled entries folder in the Remember app. From there you can move them into a folder of your choice and even set reminders to reply. Can be a very handy feature.

Just got the BBClassic and tried your flagging emails to save to remember folder. Unable to move to another folder or file. Cannot move text messages anywhere.

Anybody got any thought on how to save these messages/texts?

Flagging and filing in Remember is a terrific feature, but I just want to point out that if you delete the email from the email service's server you won't be able to view it even in Remember. Great feature but I don't think there's a native way to save an email locally on a BB10 device the way that it's possible in BB7. Emails are stored on their respective services' servers, and you access them in the Hub from those servers (I think). I guess we could prove it by shutting all connections off and trying to open emails in the Hub. (I haven't tried that yet.)

Downloaded Email Saver and stuck on cloudconvert.org API key to save to pdf. did not get a choice to save to eml only html. I am going to try copy and save to folder.
