    Hi folks
I've been using my trusty Z30 for quite some time now but the Classic keeps catching my eye. Unfortunately no stores have it in town to actually hold and compare and I've found it difficult to find pics online.

If any of you have a Z30 can you take some comparison pics of varying angles so I ca get a sense of its size comparing to the Z30? That would be really helpful in making my decision especially since the Classic is on sale.

    Thanks!

Yes thanks Jsing! What (besides screen size) was the biggest adjustment when you moved to a Classic if I may ask?

For me it was the weight. It's not super heavy it just feels extremely sturdy compared to the Z30

I've had all the BB10 phones and the Classic just feels right to me. I love it, but I also said that about the other BB10 phones when they all launched. Wife still has her Z30 and loves that too and isn't interested at all in my Classic. Both great phones.

I can't do pics, but I can tell you that the Classic is just about a mm thicker than the VZ Z30. The width is identical. To gauge the height, stand your Z30 straight up on its chin. The very top of the Classic's power button is right at the top of the Z30's screen. The top bezel would be sticking out above the Classic if you stood a Classic in front of it.

The Classic is also heavier, though not by much. I thought they were the same weight until I compared them side by side. IMO, the Classic's weight is perfect.

However, the Classic's processors are NOT as fast as the Z30's. For basic tasks and loading simple mobile websites, performance is almost identical. Load up a full desktop website with a lot of pictures or graphics, and you will see that the Classic is about 3-4 seconds behind on average. Android apps could also be slow on the Classic, although I haven't tried more than a few out--and those ran fine.

But don't get me wrong--the Classic's form factor is a delight to use, and physically launching apps, closing apps, composing messages, and making/answering calls on it are much quicker in practice than the Z30. Fully programmable keyboard shortcuts rock, and the Classic has got to have the best text editing capabilities of any phone since the last Bold.

Finally, reception seems to be identical to a Z30, and battery life is pretty comparable, too. I am very pleased with it so far (although Z30 or Passport specs in this thing would have rocked)
