I own Q10, and was thinking switching to Classic, but if I look what I get for almost three times higher price, think it's better waiting for some kind of Classic 2. Am I right on that?

Or......if you want a change for a little while then consider the road less traveled.....Q5

In my experience, it's a much better overall experience than the Q10. Go to the Q5 forum and read all about it. "Q5 Build Quality ".

And the price now is a steal.

    Snag one while you can.

    I bet you'll be surprised!

Basically, they same except exterior. Classic does feel and look premium though. Keyboard little bigger.

I double that, I got a q5 after losing my passport and i actually like it a lot. I had a q10 before the passpprt and i was never completely satisfied with it. It does feel more substantial than the q5 but i would not trade it back for a q10. But it is just me, i like less premoum, less sophisticated devices for a change. When the 5c came out i liked it better than the 5s...

I preferred the Q10 much more than the Q5 but in answer to your question, do you like the passport at all? I thought it was so damn ugly until I held it! What a beautiful piece of machinery! Its my all time favorite BlackBerry since my first 7520 color screen! Takes a week or two to get comfortable with it, depending on the person but cant wait for the next Passport to come out now!

I too recommend the Passport. I considered the Classic but I got the Passport due to much higher specs. Now that I have it I love it.

I would go Passport also. I'd trade my Classic just to get a Passport again.

I have a Q in the drawer, for emergencies. I had a passport that I sold. Now the classic. It is what BlackBerry is all about. I love it.

    I have a Classic, the Girlfriend a Q10...

    Classic has imo:

much better screen (Q10 is so damn dark)
    larger pkb
toolbelt (use th trackpad all da time)
easier to use swipe gestures (because of toolbelt)

I dont know if u have tried classic in person. It is really a different feel. Dnt go back just coz of seeing pics and hearing stories. Just try holding it in ur hands and using it for an hour and u will say, Q10 is nt like this for sure.
Bt waiting for classic 2 or slider is also a good idea by the end of the year, u can decide which phone u should buy next. Till then(obviously nt only till then) Q10 will still fight like a legend

I prefer the Classic because of the Toolbelt and the LCD screen. It is now possible to read what's on the screen outdoors.

I have a Q10 and just bought my second Classic today. Obviously I didn't test it thoroughly because it already started double typing on quite a few letters. I caannot beliieve that this ppreettyy new model was that bad compared to my two-year-old Q10 whiich hasn't given me too much trouble.

The above was posted from my Classic I just got today. Look at how bad those words are with multiple letters.

I used the Q10 for a year and have been using the Classic since it was released. Get the Classic. Bigger screen, longer battery life, better typing experience, greater efficiency because of the toolbelt + trackpad + function keys.

I have both the Q10 and Classic too. The Q10 feels more Curve like. Screen is smaller and darker. Does not have a premium feel. Lighter than the Classic hence got dropped a lot.

The Classic has a premium heft to it. LCD Screen is nicer. I use my tool belt all of the time. I did experience DT after 5 months and got a replacement unit from ShopBlackberry. So, buyer beware. I do love it and am happy to b back to a Bold like feel, with the OS10 UI that I really enjoy.
