One of the laptops does not have volumes mounted in Windows in device manager (BlackBerry Libk). In device manager-devices-volumes-right click-mout no reaction. No errors.
On other laptops, everything is fine.

    What to do?

I'm a little confused on what your doing or asking.

Are you trying to access the sd card on the Classic?

Yes, on the SD and intern flash on Q20 with across BlackBerry Link and Device Manager. Sorry for my English.

It sounds like you are referring to the drives that are mounted when you connect your phone to Link. The device manager typically identifies these as drives Y and Z. Sometimes when they don't identify properly you simply need to reboot both your phone and your PC. This happens mainly when the phone is connected via WiFi and the signal is lost.

Is Link installed on both laptops? If it's missing, could be a Windows driver issue. Can you disconnect the problem laptop from the Internet, then turn off firewall and antivirus, and try again?

If you just want to access the files themselves just go into your settings and change the usb status to I believe its called data. Don't have my Classic in front of me to check. Then connect it to the computer and it will show up as separate drives so you can copy or move files.

I find the best way to access the SD card is using: settings>>storage and access>>access using USB>>USB Mass Storage Mode.
The won't help for internal storage though.

    No effect.

Does not work only on Windows 7 64 bit. On Win 7 32 bit and XP 32 bit all ok. Driver?

What happens on the problem laptop, when you start Link and connect your phone? Does the phone appear in Link?

Go back to storage & access -> access using USB, turn on 'USB mass storage mode'. This tells your phone to act like a dumb USB disk adapter when connected to your PC. Hook it up again - does it show up as a drive now? You need an SD card in the phone for this to work.

If it doesn't show up now, leave it connected and go into Windows device manager. Look for any devices at all which have an exclamation mark or some other indication of communications problems. If there are any showing, look to see if they are your phone, e.g. 'RIM device' or 'BlackBerry', and if so, delete them from the manager. Now select 'scan for new devices' or whatever the equivalent is in your version of Windows. With luck, "plug & pray" will work this time, and your phone will mount as a drive. If you still don't see the phone, try rebooting your PC, then go back and take a look in Windows device manager again, if necessary.

Yes. Link sees the phone via USB and Wifi.

The method I suggested should mount the SD card without needing link at all.

If you really need the internal storage, or the sync capabilities of Link, then I'm sorry I can't be more help.
