Don't know if this is well known, (sorry if it is,):

From home screen: Type "remind me, space, call Mark tomorrow 3pm" hit enter. A box will open ready to set this reminder.

Or: "Schedule meeting, space, meet Larry for lunch Thursday 1pm" hit enter. Box will open to schedule this meeting, in Calendar.

    What a great time saver!

It is supposed to be a known feature, but nice of you to remind space us to use it (get it? get it?? meh...)

It can do all the things old Search could. Instant actions ("Tweet blabla", "Facebook lalala", "BBM thisperson"), and coming 10.3.2 it will be able to answer if it loves you or not.

If you click on the "i" in the bottom right corner of Assistance there is a list of suggested things you can say and type.

For me I like to hold the middle button on the side where volume is and tell assistant to "schedule yoga class at 130 pm tomorrow". No need to type.

Oh good. I asked it if it loved me and it searched the Internet for it. Talk about being friendzoned.

Sorry, I'd like to typo but my Q10 doesn't support it.

One feature I use extensively when driving is "do I have any new messages", but by voice. It actually works pretty well. It just annoys me it doesn't cancel it all when you swype home.

One feature I like is the directed search.

It works with a bunch of search engines they don't mention in the help.

    "Find Batman on imdb"
"Search wolfram alpha for ... "
Useful if the question is handled as a request by the assistant.

In all, It seems to know about:
Google, Yahoo, Bing, yelp, Flickr, answers.com, amazon, epicurious, Wikipedia, YouTube, eBay, IMDb, sound cloud, vimeo, and Wolfram alpha.

Doesn't seem to know about duckduckgo, or ask.com, although if you don't specify the search engines to use in what you say, it uses your default search engine on the browser... so can add duckduckgo that way if so inclined.

    Nice feature indeed.

It seems I only have to type : 'batman imdb' or 'batman wikipedia' to get the appropriate result (in my German setting). This also works for more words like 'berliner mauer wikipedia' which will search for the phrase 'berliner mauer'.

I find this way quite useful as I had problems when forming sentences like ' search for berlin wall on imdb' (in German at least).

There are so many of these gems in the BlackBerry OS that many people don't know about. So if anyone finds a new feature, don't be shy and share!

Big ups to OP, just showed a couple android users and they were impressed.

I use assistant to voice dial a contact number while driving. I push and hold the button on my Bluetooth earpiece for a couple seconds and assistant starts up and asks what I want to do and I say "call so and so mobile" and she dials and connects. all through my earpiece and don't even have to touch the phone... nice!
