    Hi everyone,

I just got my classic a couple of days ago and I'm pretty disappointed with the screen real estate - and I'm not talking about the 720x720, but rather how the software is using it.

For example when reading a mail in the hub: both the 'from' header as the footer with the reply/reply all/forward actions are always on, which is a terrible waste of space imho. A couple of years ago, on my Q10, I remember the 'from' header disappeared when scrolling down in a mail, and on my Z30 the action bar footer disappears when scrolling thru a mail. Is this behavior not possible at all on the classic (running 10.3.2.2639) , or is this option so burried away that I didn't find it?

Same goes for the preinstalled Twitter app - the footer with the actions is always there, hiding it when scrolling would bring much more usable space back.

    Thanks!

There are two ways to slightly increase your screen real estate. Under Settings->Display scroll down to the Action Bar settings where you see "Always Show Icon Labels" and "Hide Action Bar When Scrolling."

In Settings->Display I only have the option 'Only show icon labels', and it doesn't seem to have any effect when I turn it off. The bottom options when I'm reading an email or being I the Twitter app is the same, just that only the icons are displayed, not the text labels below the icons. That's not saving much space.

In the settings->Display there is no option "Hide Action Bar When Scrolling."

Odd. I assume it should always hide in that case!
Which OS version are you on
