If you could change one thing about the Classic, what would it be?

I would add screen rotation. Sometimes I would like to have the phone on its side with the kick-stand out.
Or since there is more vertical scrolling within web pages, I would like to turn the phone sideways and get a good long trackpad scroll in without accidentally dragging my thumb on the touchscreen.

Yep, screen rotation is up there - why would you take the choice away from the user? I'd also suggest throwing in a Passport camera module - someone must have a few boxes of those lying around?

    How about better (rear) camera...

    Or water resistance.

    Or faster CPU/GPU.

Those would be my top 3.

I like the specs that it has since it doesn't get sluggish too often, but the Classic should have been released with something closer to Passport specs. It would have made the device SUPER snappy.

    Bigger trackpad
Trackpad light (or whatever it is called)
Same copy paste functions like BBOS
    Passport specs
    Better back camera
Bold 9900/Q10 like curves at the top and bottom (Opposed to the candy bar like the Q5)

Me too, and it is great. I really like the small footprint of the 9900 docking station.

I'd take a better camera and processor, and an illuminated trackpad like my Bold 9900 had.

Ability to actually lock the keyboard, without having to password protect, so that it doesn't pocket dial. It seems like such a simple thing, and all my old BB legacy phones could do this.

I think you mean capacitive keyboard. I make that distinction because it doesn't at all replace the functions of a trackpad...

Knurling on the metal sides to provide a better one handed grip. Light up trackpad. Removable battery (battery life is great but eventually it's gonna wear out). Same screen technology as the Q10. Just bought my classic- still getting used to it.

Better screen, faster processor, better camera. Also add backlighting around the trackpad edges like on the 9900.

Better radio in general, but definitely add LTE band 12. I'm on T-Mo and the Classic has been the worst for reception.

Everything else about the Classic, I like.

Ok, except the browser. The browser sucks, and pickins are slim in either app store.

It didn't in the beginning, but with the introduction of bb assistant, yah, it's slow as dirt...
