Ok, I charged my phone to 100%, almost eight hours later with the phone sitting idle it had lost 25% battery. I had not touched it, no apps were open. It was just sitting there. The phone had a strong cellular signal and was connected to Wifi.

Do you reckon that's a reasonable drain?

That's a lot... did it had a wifi signal? I'll keep mine al day connected with 4G.. and I don't have that much drain... with regularly Internet browsing.. bbm and mail. At home I turn of my 4G and switch to wifi... and constantly browsing and reading.. this is my battery level now

My Classic's battery life is VERY decent... 24hrs+ use on a single charge. A nice weekend run without having to bust out the charger. Emails, browser, twitter, RSS feeds, SMS, messengers, CB app, phone calls, some camera/video use, some music and a few videos to boot. Just now returning home about to put her on charge, but I am very happy with my Classic's battery life...

I get ~18 hours.
Battery is good for me. It could be better but it lasts through the day.
Android runtime su*** most of the battery.

Just got a Classic from TMobile on Friday...charged it 100% Friday afternoon.

Have left it on, since then, used it all day yesterday, Saturday, and it still has 24% charge this morning, Sunday.

Really good battery life.

Out the box, the Classic battery was outstanding. Overtime is has gotten progressively worse. It's still good compared to other devices just not as good as it once was. I have stock AT&T 10.3.1 OS with no Android Apps or really any additional BlackBerry apps downloaded other than CB10. I've check my settings countless number of times and nothing specific is draining it. I can't get through an entire day anymore. Typically throw it on the charger when I get home for about 45 minutes

battery life is more than 'decent'. What I wish my Blackberrys had is Quick charging of sorts. Not Qualcomm's but any 'officially' blackberry engineered form of quick charging.

My classic had mediocre battery life out the box but since I autoloaded 10.3.2.798 it's been awesome. I took it off the charger yesterday at 6am and by 10pm I had 74 % remaining. Made half a dozen calls, couple of texts, facebook, instagram and about an hour of browsing. Played half hour of music too. Can't complain at that

My classic had mediocre battery life out the box but since I autoloaded 10.3.2.798 it's been awesome. I took it off the charger yesterday at 6am and by 10pm I had 74 % remaining. Made half a dozen calls, couple of texts, facebook, instagram and about an hour of browsing. Played half hour of music too. Can't complain at that

I don't get that good, but I'm pleased as it lasts me the day no matter how heavy I am with usage.
Interestingly, I did see a jump in battery life when I installed the official 798, but I decided to reset using the top button (holding it until I see the BlackBerry twice - over 10 seconds) and the battery improved even more. Not sure why.

I'll show both sides of the phone. Yesterday I had my worst battery life day. I did leave WiFi and location on all day, even though I was only connected to a WiFi network for about a third of the day. Also, I wasn't connected to even a mobile network for about 3 hours in the morning because of the building I was working in doesn't get a signal. Still really happy with it

Make sure to turn off "run when minimized " on all your apps. Go to Security and Privacy in main settings and then Application permissions. Press on each app and if the option to "run when minimized" is there turn it off. This helps, especially if you use some Android apps.

My Classic is about 3 weeks old and im still getting stupid battery life.

With 3 emails synced, FB, Twitter, iGrannPro, texts, moderate web browsing, and constant notifications, im getting 18-20 hours before it goes into low battery mode.

I've had my classic about a month now, battery life is awesome. I can use heavily for a day and only be at 70% by the time I get home. It's night and day compared to the 9900 after which I swore I was done with BlackBerry. I'm glad I came home

With every OS update loaded over my Z10's long life with normal software applications updates, I notice batterzby degradation. However, with age and more feature rich apps I feel that my battery experience is normal. NO here with my Battery.
