Hey guys, I am thinking about upgrading to the BlackBerry Classic. I've been a BB user for many years. My main concern is delete/remove facebook and twitter from the phone entirely. Is that possible? or are these two applications built into the core of BB 10?

Just don't set up the accounts and move the icons into a junk folder. Done.

You can delete/uninstall them. I always go to bbworld and my apps, installed, hold on the one you want to remove and choose uninstall.

Exactly, just uninstall apps which you do not need.

That's good if that works. In the past, when a core app was deleted, the OS would continually prompt you to update.

Never have been prompted so I doubt they are core apps. I never use them and they are the first thing I uninstall.

Facebook and Twitter have always been removable at least since BlackBerry 10. The OP is getting a classic, so why talk about past.

Because I didn't know if that issue still existed. Good to know.
